GREAT learning platform for kids!

I have been pretty impressed with this little bot. I have had my 10 year old learning block coding (scratch) with it and my 3 year old is learning the drawing and just how to drive it around. The app is a bit overly complicated, however it does a good job with the teaching. A few small hiccups at times specifically where it confuses the specific device you're using, but it's cosmetic and doesn't effect the operations. The thing is fun just to drive around like an RC car as a reward for the kids doing a good job.

If you want to be a game coder, this is a fun way to practice

The RVR+ offers an exciting glimpse into the world of software development. To get started, you'll need to download the Sphero Edu app; note that it's not compatible with the Sphero Play app. I appreciate that account creation isn't mandatory to enjoy the RVR+, though it's available as an option. You'll steer this nifty gadget using your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth, and it's quite impressive—comparable to the experience of using a Bluetooth controller with a gaming console. Its speed and responsiveness are top-notch.

Sphero never disappoints. This robot car was intuitive and fun straight out of the box. I was nervous that it may be too challenging but was pleasantly surprised to find it was really easy to program. What a great way to make learning fun!
