Nice holiday project

I bought a couple of robots to do over the holidays. This one was pretty simple overall. Took about 2 hours to build. I've only used the example sketches, but so far everything works great.

A very well supported kit.

I bought this kit for a group project focused on embedded programming, and my team and I are quite satisfied with our choice. The accompanying wiki is excellent, providing comprehensive coverage of the kit. It includes numerous lessons, from IDE setup and step-by-step assembly to test code, along with a wealth of helpful resource links. The instructions begin with the basic board and smoothly progress to the multifunctional car shown in the image. Utilizing both the KS0470 wiki and the Arduino API, I found that I could adapt this kit to a variety of uses. The kit is complete with all necessary components, except for batteries. It's also remarkably durable; I accidentally dropped the fully assembled robot from a height of about 4 feet, and after reinserting the batteries that had fallen out, it was still in perfect condition with no damage. This kit is an excellent learning tool for individuals of all ages.

Simple, intuitive and fun for all ages.

This robot car is very simple to build. Pay attention to the directions. There are a few things that are not very clear, but if you just trace the wires in the diagrams, it goes right together. There are also a few minor spelling and syntax errors in the code, but that makes it all the more fun trying to find those little errors and fix them. It is an amazing toy that even my wife and I love playing with.
