I'm really REALLY happy to have it. you can set the time, and you can also set what time in the morning you want it to turn green (telling your child that they are now allowed to get up). This feature may or may not be used. You can also decide how long you want it to stay green (mine is set to one hour), but you can turn off the green light when your child gets up. When the green light comes on (at 8am in our house!), a cute smile appears on the screen. The set is actually really cute! All the buttons for setting the time and everything are on the back, big enough to understand and see well. It's really easy to set up, I can't imagine anyone having any trouble with it. There is also a nap function that you can set, so if your child is going to take a nap, you can set the green light to come on in an hour or two, etc.
