The virtual reality sensor
HTC Vive tracker is a device that includes a set of SteamVR Tracking sensors, allowing you to capture your movements during your virtual reality activities. It's a small, lightweight device that has a rechargeable battery that allows you to have an immersive experience for over 4 hours.
Performance
HTC Vive tracker allows you to create a simple connection between real objects and the virtual experience, it has 18 SteamVR IR sensors that monitor its orientation and positions on the X, Y and Z axes. These sensors maximize fidelity allows a 270° field of view for real-time tracking. It is a device that allows you to interact with multiple devices and communicates with the host computer without the use of wires. It is the ideal device for film production whether placed on the camera or on the subject to facilitate 3D rendering, also for sports simulations, for professional training and for other areas requiring greater immersion in virtual reality.
Easy to use
It's an easy to use device, just plug the dongle contained in the package into a USB 2.0 port on your PC and place the tracker about 400 meters away for optimal signal performance. Then start the SteamVR client and turn on your controllers, to turn on the Tracker you just need to press the Vive logo for a second. The LED indicator should flash and then light up continuously. When the Tracker pairs with SteamVR, you will see a Vive Tracker icon appear in the SteamVR window. From there, it's up to your software to calibrate the position of the Tracker. SteamVR can support up to 10 sensors at once, ideal for playing virtual reality games in teams.
Design
The Vive Tracker is a small round device with 3 protruding surfaces above the Tracker exposing the sensors from various angles, it has a screw hole at its base that allows you to attach it to your gaming accessories, but also to your wrist or ankle with straps requiring an additional purchase. It has a 1,500 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery that gives you up to four hours of continuous use. It comes with a few accessories, including a micro-USB cord, a 2.4 GHz USB dongle, the dongle case and an instruction booklet.

J'ai acheté ce tracker pour l'utiliser avec mon logiciel de motion capture et je suis très satisfait. La précision est au rendez-vous et l'intégration est relativement simple. La batterie dure environ 6 heures, ce qui est suffisant pour mes sessions de travail. Un excellent produit!
