What is skin conductance
Skin conductance is a scientific term also known as electrodermal or galvanic skin response. It is a natural quality that also has physical and mental medical applications. Human skin conducts electricity better when it is physiologically excited. This reaction is measurable by specific devices.
How eSence Skin Response works
The eSense Skin Response system measures skin conductance between two electrodes attached to your index and middle fingers. The active measurement consists of applying a very low and imperceptible voltage to your fingers.

The eSense tracker is surprisingly accurate. I compared it to other biofeedback devices and found it to be just as reliable, but much more convenient. The fact that it connects to my phone is a huge plus. It's easy to take with me and use throughout the day.
