Great color screen
VTech VM5463-2 is a video baby monitor with a 5" color LCD screen that allows you to clearly see every little move right from the high resolution parent unit. You can pan, tilt and zoom the camera from the parent unit up to 270 degrees side-to-side, tilts as far as 25 degrees up and down and zooms up to 2 times. The auto-on night light on the baby unit has 3 different colors. The auto-on feature turns the night light on when noise is detected to help soothe your baby back to sleep. The temperature indicator on the parent unit lets you know when it's time to adjust the thermostat.

The device has a great glow-on-the-ceiling projection with a light that shines through the top of the baby unit, projecting a starry night scene onto the ceiling. You can also enable the auto-on to turn the projection on automatically when noise is detected to help calm your baby to help them sleep. The device has soothing sounds and lullabies, five calming melodies and four soft ambient sounds, including a trickling stream and white noise to help your baby slip into a sweet slumber. You can save power with the parent unit screen turned off until it senses noise. A visual and audio indicator will alert you when it's time to check on the baby.

The automatic infrared night vision gives you a clear view of the nursery even with the lights out, so you can check in without disturbing your little one. You can also comfort your infant from any room with the built-in intercom on the portable parent unit. The two baby units in this system allow you to position them in two different locations. A camera and a projector at the same time
My husband and I are 1000% behind this monitor. It really is like a third parent to our daughter ! He watches her day and night, well it's us but he also does his job. He calms her down from time to time with his projector. If you are worried about the picture quality at night, don't worry, it's perfect, so imagine the day.
