Much Steadier Than My Previous Nikon Rangefinder
I previously used a Nikon Coolshot, but the Acer Gadget Golf Rangefinder’s anti-shake technology makes a noticeable difference in keeping readings stable, especially when my hands aren’t steady. The vibration feedback when locking onto the pin is more reassuring, and I really appreciate the versatile modes and USB-C charging compared to my old battery-operated unit.
Right away, I was impressed by how steady the readings are, even though my hands aren't the stillest. The flaglock vibration lets me know when I've locked onto the right pin, and the 800-yard range is more than enough for the courses I play. The display is bright and easy to read, and I love not having to worry about swapping batteries thanks to the USB-C charging.
At first, I was doubtful about the Acer Gadget Golf Rangefinder—figured all the high-tech claims and anti-shake talk would be more hype than help. I struggle with shaky hands, so I never trusted rangefinders to give me steady, accurate readings. But after a few rounds, I’m impressed: it locks onto the flag even when I’m a bit unsteady, and that slight vibration leaves no doubt I’ve hit my target.
