Great Little Robot for Aspiring Programmers

Right out of the box, the Jetbot Mini felt sturdy despite its compact size. Setting up the software took me less than an hour, and the app controls are genuinely easy to use for FPV driving. I especially liked the fun face detection and gesture recognition features—highly recommended for beginners learning AI!

Skeptical at First, Impressed After Hands-On Use

Honestly, I was hesitant about the Jetbot Mini; it sounded a bit too ambitious for such a tiny robot, especially since the main board isn’t included. But after setting it up (which was surprisingly smooth) and running some Python scripts, I was genuinely impressed by how responsive and feature-rich it is. The app’s joystick control worked flawlessly, and the image processing features ran better than expected—even the face detection. For the price, it turned out to be a fantastic intro to AI robotics, and Yahboom’s support resources were a huge help.
