A Huge Upgrade for Traveling Families

Compared to my old plastic travel chess set, this handcrafted magnetic wooden board is a game changer—no more lost pieces in the car, and the craftsmanship feels so much nicer and sturdier. Unlike my previous set, it folds up easily without sacrificing piece size, making it perfect for both portability and true chess enjoyment.

Skeptical at First, But Seriously Impressed!

To be honest, I got this magnetic chess set thinking it would be another gimmicky travel board—flimsy and barely usable. But I was very wrong. The wooden pieces actually feel substantial and the magnets are strong enough that nothing moves, even on bumpy road trips. Now it’s our go-to family activity on holidays, and even my gadget-obsessed nephew loves playing with it!
