    Amazing Stand-Alone Device

    Amazing little gadget that is great for packing in your backpack and recording media on the go. The video quality is really amazing. Gotta say it's beyond great as a portable capture card. Works great with OBS too.

    Actually works

    This works very well for capturing HDMI output. There 2 products I had previously tried were very flaky and captured a useful video less than 50% of the time. The Elgato 4k60 captures high quality video consistently.

    Fixed audio sync issues

    We are using the USB output to a laptop for streaming a church service. We had a similar, but cheaper model and had audio sync issues. Audio was 500ms early. After installing this and using the USB-C port on the laptop, audio and video are in perfect sync via OBS. We are only streaming 720p, so this handles it no problem.
