Packing an impressive 720p resolution camera with night vision mode, two-way audio for remote cutesy pet communication, and that aforementioned treat-tossing cannon, the Furbo makes for an impressive, albeit expensive, Wi-Fi-connected pet gadget.
It’s tall, angular and finished in glossy white, with a tasteful removable wooden lid covering the top. The height is necessary to provide adequate room to store your pet’s favourite treats in the easily-accessible hopper.
It’s from the front and centre of the Furbo that treats are projected, whereas the 720p camera is positioned towards the top. Behind the Furbo logo is a subtle colour-changing LED indicator to let you know when the Furbo is online; it also changes colour when someone is remotely accessing the camera.
If popped onto a shelf, the unit blends into the rest of a room. Placing it high is probably a sensible idea for a number of reasons, one of which being to stop inquisitive pooches from discovering the secret hack of knocking the Furbo over to access all the tasty delights within.
The second reason is that the wide-angle camera is aimed every-so-slightly downwards, making it a little obscured if placed on the floor. Better to take a higher vantage point to discover what your dog does during the day.
The video quality is fantastic and the treat dispensing works, well, a treat. It’s also an attractive and well-designed pet gadget, which shouldn’t be overlooked for something that will be in sight of all to see. The peace of mind of being able to check in on your pets and interact with them is also something you soon realise you can’t live without.

Great camera, but treat tossing could be better.
The Furbo is a solid dog camera. The video quality is clear, and the 2-way audio works perfectly. I appreciate the bark alerts; they've helped me identify when my dog is truly distressed versus just being playful. My only minor complaint is the treat-tossing mechanism; it sometimes gets jammed, but overall it's a great product.

Best investment for my anxious pup!
I bought the Furbo after my vet suggested I look into ways to ease my dog's separation anxiety. The bark alert is a lifesaver! I get a notification on my phone when he starts barking, and I can immediately check in and talk to him through the 2-way audio. The treat dispenser is a fun bonus too! He loves catching the treats. Setup was super easy, and the video quality is great, even at night.

La Furbo est un excellent investissement pour tous les propriétaires de chiens. Le détecteur d'aboiements est super utile, je reçois une notification sur mon téléphone si mon chien aboie trop. La possibilité de lui parler le rassure beaucoup. Le distributeur de friandises est un plus, ça lui fait une petite surprise pendant la journée. Je recommande!
Peace of mind when I'm at work!
I work long hours, and I always felt guilty leaving my dog alone. The Furbo has completely changed that! I can see him, talk to him, and even give him a treat while I'm at work. The night vision is excellent, so I can even check on him at night. The app is user-friendly, and the camera quality is surprisingly good for the price. Highly recommend for any pet owner!
