ZOLEO Satellite Communicator is a device that allows you to extend your messaging network via satellite, cellular network or wifi. It connects to your devices via Bluetooth whether it's on IOS or Android, it's a small device that slips easily into your pocket and resists dust, shocks and also water, ideal for your mountain hikes with friends or family.
Multifunction
ZOLEO is based on the Iridium satellite which allows you to extend your messaging coverage anywhere in the world. It has a phone number allowing you to send or receive text messages directly on your smartphone, via your email or on the application dedicated to it. It also has a Gaia GPS cartography in order to show precisely where you are in real time. The device is also equipped with the weather forecast function that gives detailed weather information over 5 days to plan your trip safely.
Connectivity
The device connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth and has an application that is compatible on all Android and IOS devices. The application allows you to see all your contacts to let them know you're okay even if you're off the network and reassure them with pre-recorded messages that can be initiated with a single click. It uses the wifi network, mobile networks and also the satellite network to be able to send SOS alerts with your GPS coordinates wherever you are at all times.

It's a small device that has many buttons to turn the device on and off, to send messages and also a button that sends an SOS to all your contacts in one click. It is equipped with a rechargeable battery via USB cable and offers a great autonomy of more than 200 hours and 8 days. It's a device that operates at temperatures ranging from -20 to 55 degrees Celsius with an IP68 protection rating that is dust, water and shock resistant with a military grade MIL-STD 810G.

Reliable Satellite Communication
I've been using the ZOLEO for about 2 months now for my sailing trips. The global messaging is super reliable using the Iridium satellite network, and the ability to send pre-recorded messages with a single click is incredibly convenient. The Gaia GPS cartography is also a great addition. It's rugged and waterproof, which is exactly what I need on the water. It is a bit pricey upfront, but the reliability is worth it.

Great for Staying Connected
Bought this for my husband who does a lot of remote hiking for work. He loves that he can stay in touch with me, even when there's no cell service. The SOS feature is a huge comfort to me.
