Children's monitor
AXVUE A242 consists of a monitor and two cameras that connect to each other via wireless connectivity up to a distance of 300 meters. It is a 4.3-inch monitor that allows you to control all the functions offered by the cameras.
Camera
The AXVUE A242 has a CMOS sensor with optical compensation that offers high resolution. It is equipped with a temperature sensor that continuously monitors in real time the temperature measured in the room where the camera is located, but also has a night vision function thanks to 6 infrared LEDs allowing to see up to 9 meters in total darkness. It has a VOX voice activation function with 3 levels of sensitivity that alerts you instantly as soon as the baby's voice is detected and also an intercom function thanks to an integrated microphone and speaker. It offers 180° pan, tilt left to right, tilt forward and backward and 2X digital zoom.
Monitor
The monitor has a 4.3-inch TFT-LCD screen that allows you to see in real time what the camera is showing, it allows you to control the pan and tilt functions to always put the baby in his field of vision. It supports up to 4 cameras at the same time allowing you to easily switch from one camera to another in real time. The monitor is powered by a rechargeable battery that offers a total autonomy of 18 hours.
Design
The camera and monitor connect to each other automatically without the use of wires thanks to a technology that supports the algorithm for comparing and correcting the data transmission and works perfectly at a distance of over 300 meters. The camera has a robust design with a base that allows it to be placed firmly on all flat surfaces. The monitor has buttons to navigate through the various functions offered.

So much better than my old monitor!
I upgraded from a cheaper monitor, and the difference is night and day (literally!). The picture is so much clearer, and the two cameras are a game changer. I love the auto-scan function; it gives me a quick view of both rooms. Worth every penny!
