Bring flexibility, convenience, and peace of mind to your home with Chime Pro, a three-in-one plug-in solution that serves as a wifi extender for your Ring cameras and doorbells, a nightlight, and a device to hear notifications for your Ring devices.
My Ring cameras finally work PERFECTLY everywhere in the house!
I am honestly blown away by how much the Chime Pro leveled up my whole Ring setup! Not only did it stretch my WiFi so my furthest camera now has a rock‑solid connection, but the instant, loud chime alerts mean I never miss motion or a doorbell ring—even upstairs. The built‑in nightlight is a surprisingly awesome bonus, and I love being able to pick fun alert tones, tweak the volume, and hit snooze right in the Ring app—way more convenient and polished than I expected for such a small, plug‑in device.
Great WiFi boost and alerts, but only shines if you’re all‑in on Ring
The Chime Pro does a great job extending WiFi to my Ring doorbell and cameras, and the instant audible alerts mean I don’t have to rely on my phone being nearby or unmuted. I like the customizable tones, volume control, and the built‑in nightlight, which adds a bit of safety in the hallway at night. The downside is that it only benefits Ring devices, so it’s not a general WiFi extender, and setup can be a bit finicky if your router is far away or you switch between 2.4 and 5 GHz. I’d still recommend it to Ring users who miss doorbell rings or have weak WiFi near their door, but it’s not worth it if you’re not already in the Ring ecosystem.
Thought It Was a Gimmick…Now I Rely on It Every Day
I hesitated to buy the Chime Pro because it sounded like yet another overpriced plug-in gadget, and I wasn’t convinced it would actually improve my glitchy Ring connection. The setup was almost suspiciously simple—plug in, connect to WiFi, done—but the real turning point was when my doorbell alert came through instantly while I was in the basement, where I used to miss notifications completely. The WiFi signal to my Ring camera is now solid, and the motion alerts are loud and clear without needing my phone nearby. As a bonus, the soft nightlight by the front hall has made late-night trips to the kitchen less of a stumble-fest, so I’ve gone from skeptical to wondering why I waited so long.
