Application
The device has an Android and IOS compatible app that allows you to make calls, download contacts to the address book, listen to voicemail, activate call screening features or change Ooma preferences. You can also use the app to check the status of your home at any time by calling the 911 emergency number from your personal phone number, even when you're not at home, or to be notified if someone in the house makes a 911 call with phone call, text or email notifications. The device has voice command functionality via Alexa to make it easy to check your messaging, or search for your contacts by number or name.
Design
This is a device with a modern design and sits on any flat surface whether in your living room, bedrooms etc, it has several buttons that are on the top that allow you to access Google voice messaging but also navigate through the tracks. You can also increase and decrease the volume and delete the messages already listened. On the back of the device are several inputs to connect an Ethernet cable for management, another Ethernet cable for uplink, a RJ11 phone port, a USB type-A port and a power cable that plugs directly into the power outlet.
