One slogan: simplicity

The "real time" connected thermostat Ween uses geolocation to automatically regulate the heating and thus try to save you money.

This intelligent thermostat is based on an algorithm that models the thermal behavior of your home, in other words, the rate at which it cools and warms, depending on the weather. This modeling must be coupled with a presence management system that is made possible thanks to the geolocation of your smartphone.

Ween relies on simplicity of use: once installed, there is nothing more to do, or almost. The team defines its device as a "real-time" thermostat that is differentiated by its ability to locate family members. It adapts automatically according to their movements, without needing to define or learn a precise schedule of the week.

For children staying at home (or if you have passing guests), it is possible to use "tags" so that the thermostat detects that they have returned. A microphone is also present to identify the presence of people at home and thus adjust the temperature of the room.

Good to know :

Uses geolocation to automatically regulate heating

It is able to recognize an animal (a dog for example) in order not to heat the house if it barks

It uses the smartphones that allow it to locate the different members of the fireplace and thus cut or restore the heating according to their position and their current journey.

25% savings in heating are possible thanks to Ween

FAQ

Is Ween compatible with my current heating?

Ween is compatible with almost all centralized heating systems. This covers gas, oil, electric, heat pumps, some pellet stoves, but also electric pilot convector installations with pilot wires, the pilot wires of which have been centralized (mandatory in the new since 2008) or the radiant slabs. As soon as you have a "dry contact" thermostat, Ween is compatible. A "dry contact" command means that the heating request is made by closing a switch. As opposed to "bus" systems.

 Is my old boiler compatible?

Contrary to popular belief, these devices are often the simplest to drive. Almost all of the old boilers have a terminal block for steering by a "dry contact" thermostat. If in doubt, take advantage of the regulatory visit to seek advice from your heating contractor.

Are my electric convectors in each room compatible?

The electric convectors must be connected to the Ween actuator by a "pilot wire". Since 2008, the centralization of all pilot wires is compulsory in new buildings heated by electricity. If this is not the case, it is better to seek advice from your electrician.
