Mogees uses a small case, equipped with a high quality microphone, which will pick up the vibrations of the object on which it is stuck. The captured sound is then sent, via an audio cable, to the iPhone. It is the Mogees application that analyses and interprets this audio signal to transform it, according to your settings, into musical and/or organic sound.

An innovative technology:
The sensor detects the vibrations you create when you touch a physical object and sends them to Mogees software, which detects the audio frequencies generated by your gesture and adjusts the sound of your instrument accordingly and in real time.

My Mogees sensor is not working

If you think that your Mogees sensor is not working, please follow these steps.

Plug your headphones into the Mogees connector then insert the Mogees connector into your iOS device.

Open the Mogees Pulse or Mogees Keys or Mogees Maestro app and you should hear sounds and see the screen flash or move as you play.

If this is not the case;

Close the App (double tap the home button then swipe the Mogees App screen up).

Disconnect your Mogees sensor.

Connect your headphones into the Mogees connector first.

Then re-insert the Mogees connector into your iOS device.

Re-open the application.

If you have a case or cover on your iOS device it may prevent the Mogees connector from being inserted all the way. Remove the case or cover and try connect your Mogees again.

If the above does not work, please turn your iOS device on and off and repeat the above process.

 If none of the above work, please complete the Mogees hardware test 

 

I see a message asking to plug my Mogees in, but it is plugged in.

 If you receive this message even though your Mogees sensor is plugged in, please follow these steps.

 Close the App (double tap the home button then swipe the Mogees App screen up).

 Disconnect your Mogees sensor.

Connect your headphones into the Mogees connector first.

Then re-insert the Mogees connector into your iOS device.

Re-open the application.

If you have a case or cover on your iOS device it may prevent the Mogees connector from being inserted all the way. Remove the case or cover and try connect your Mogees again.

How to wash your sticky pads and use them again

 With normal use, the sticky pad on the Mogees microphone may get dirty and lose its stickiness. To make it work again, simply peel the sticky pad from the Mogees microphone and run it under water, wiping away any residue. Once cleaned, shake the sticky pad until it is completely dry before attaching it back to the underside of the Mogees microphone.

 Sticky pads tend to get better over time with regular washing.

You may find that with the spare sticky pads provided, they can attract layers of dust or dirt quite rapidly and will need washing quite soon after first use.
