What is sous vide cooking?


Sous Vide is a technique of cooking food at precisely controlled low temperatures inside a water bath while sealing the ingredients in an airtight bag. This process creates uniquely textured foods that are tender, moist, and unlike anything ever created in conventional kitchens. The low temperatures used in sous vide cooking help the ingredients retain full flavor with exceptional succulence.


Does the Anova have a warranty?


Yes. All Anova sous vide immersion circulators have a one-year limited warranty. If used in commercial environments, the warranty does not cover the touch screen LCD.


Is cooking sous vide convenient?


When cooking sous vide, you can "set it and forget it." You can also cook delicious meals for an entire week and easily store them in microwavable bags.
Sous vide is not a last minute meal. It does take some time to prepare and cook a sous vide meal.



Are there health benefits to cooking sous vide?

It is easy to set up and pair with my cell phone through bluetooth. This little magic wand heats up the water quickly. I would say it's even faster than I boil water on stove top.
