It easily casts out and scans down to 165 ft. Now you’ll spend more time catching and less time searching, sweating, and swearing. Comes with user-friendly instruction manual and USB charging cable. How to Set-up and Use Deeper START?


Charging Make sure your fish finder is fully charged. The Deeper Start charges in 2.5 hours and uses a USB cable that is compatible with any USB port. The battery lasts for 6 hours of continuous usage. Keep in mind that it isn’t necessary to use it continuously, unless you’re having fun scanning.	Connecting Use the barrel swivel to securely attach the fishing line to your Start fish finder. Place it in the water and it will automatically switch on. Connect to your fish finder via your phone settings. Then, open the Deeper App (make sure it’s up-to-date) to start scanning the water. Important: Make sure you have turned off all Wi-Fi assistance on your smartphone (e.g., “Wi-Fi Assist” on iOS) or switch off Cellular Data altogether. This will ensure an uninterrupted connection.	Casting Once connected, you’re ready to cast out. Your Start has a connection range of 165 ft. To ensure a solid connection, do not put your phone on the ground or in your pocket. We recommend using the Deeper smartphone mount for your rod.	Scanning Once your fish finder hits the water, you’ll start to see fish and depth data on your smartphone screen. Slowly reel in the fish finder and you will see changes in depth and fish location. If you don’t see any fish icons, that means there aren’t any fish! Try another spot until you find fish. Important : The screen will scroll from right to left even if your sonar is stationary. That’s because your fish finder is constantly sending out scanning beams.

USB chargeable, can charge on the go!

If you all are looking for an easy to use fish finder, to just download the app,charge the device, take out on your trip and cast. This little guy is for you!! Dont let the size fool you. This guy is a beast! I'd your not into all the offline mapping and super high tech stuff, an want an easier version to use other the. The deeper pro plus. I'd definitely go with this guy. Especially if your just scanning around docks or shoreline and your not casting and scanning a whole bunch of water. This little guy will get the job done! I absolutely love it. I have the deeper pro plus and this deeper smart. An I can say when I'm just fishing docks and small places where I dont need to know a whole lot but where the fish are at, this is my go to. Highly recommend, light weight, extremely durable,holds a great charge of 6 hours of scanning time. If you guys are looking for a lower price fish finder, without the higher tech stuff and mapping of waters, check out the deper smart! You wont be disappointed
